Closed Captioning
Our closed captioning services have expanded to include all HD formats
in addition to our on-going SD formats. We can work with your caption
files, your scripts or create transcriptions directly from your video
masters. DSI additionally offers foreign language translation services
for close captioning. When packaged with our state-of-the-art standards
conversion services, we can truly streamline the process for foreign country
air-dates.

Using our state-of-the-art Snell & Wilcox Alchemist Platinum Ph.C-HD
standards converter - the ultimate in standards conversion quality, ensures
precision performance.
The Alchemist has the most advanced standards conversion motion estimation technique available, with 4:4:4 resolution and a minimum of 12-bit internal processing. 72 dB signal-to-noise ratio and proprietary 46 point interpolation delivers maximum vertical and diagonal resolution. CleanCut interpolation results in clear, crisp imagery with no smearing between scene changes. Superlative standards are achieved, including up conversion to 1080i, 1035i and 720p high definition formats.
